You are a happy girl.I'm an envious one.Throw a snowball or two for me.
I was hoping for that 10-17" we were promised originally...this mix of ice pellets and snow is wretched! Even the neighborhood kids gave up after 10 minutes of being pelted in the face non-stop with these high winds...but it's wonderful to be inside in the warmth and know that everyone is safe and sound..
I forgot to mention this is a really cute cartoon!
Sure thing - after the now howling wind and ice pellets stop. :) I just commented to our neighbor's son (who just came over) "COLD out isn't it?" and he responded with "It's not so bad except for the tiny ice balls hitting you in the eyes." The boys are seniors in HS and are glad to have the day off, although they just informed me that today was supposed to be senior cut day and so that automatically means they will be off tomorrow.I always feel a little guilty when I am happy about frigid temps, snow and ice because I don't want anyone to suffer with accidents or being cold. It's just so beautiful, for so many reasons and I love being cozy inside. I am making these really good Thanksgiving pumpkin cookies for my PMD that I am seeing tomorrow and also roasting a chicken with stuffing, etc. If I get really ambitious, I might make little heart shaped cakes with icing for valentines day.I want my husband to come home to good hot dinner and a couple of surprises for valentines day. :)One of the things that makes the Thanksgiving pumpkin cookies so special is that you are only supposed to make them for Thanksgiving, but so many people have enjoyed them this year that I am breaking my rule. :)Have a beautiful day!
Yes, my occasional twisted humor loves the weird cartoons. I thoroughly enjoy the rabbit's ears and his stance with the blow dryer. Enjoy your day! :)
Hi Seaspray. I fixed the link problem, I think. I've made the snow angel and took a picture, but I can't pack the snow for the snow puppy. It's gorgeous here!
You are so sweet! I am going to look now. :)
