Heh. I've seen this strip before. Always makes me chuckle. Reminds me of Dr Nick from The Simpsons too :)On to The Apprentice! I agree that the Project Manager escaped unfairly. She should have taken some heat about ditching the shooting during the early stages. But they all ganged up and sold Muna out in the boardroom, and since that tactic works in this season (Trump didn't use to let it work in past seasons) she had to take one for the team.I also didn't like how they portrayed Trump as being equal to God. When Muna was reading the Bible, they showed Kristine reading a Trump book, and during her interview she said "I have yet to see God sitting to Mr Trump's left". I'm not a Bible-thumping effigy-burner or anything, but the cheek of that edit didn't pass me by.All in all, I didn't like this episode much. Left a bitter taste in my mouth, like justice hadn't been done. The past seasons all had some justice in them, but the editors this time have done a terrible job. What do you think?(Sorry for rambling on a bit.)
Hi there A.M.!Glad you liked the cartoon - It cracks me up! :) I can't believe I forgot about the Bible reading vs the Trump book. I didn't see it the way you did A.M. as portraying Trump equal to God, but that is an interesting perspective. Yuk! If producers were in any way trying to suggest that! What did jump out at me was her cockiness and from my perspective, ignorance in saying that. I think Trump himself believes in God. (Saw him on a program regarding one of his books) I also though that the image of Muna reading her Bible would cause some people to view her as a mental midget and therefore not a good candidate for his organization.Personally, I believe there is a lot of wisdom and insight gained through reading the scriptures. They say King Solomon was one of the wisest men that ever lived. The book of Proverbs is one of the books written by him.I did see what Kristine was doing in letting Muna do the acting because while she was well intentioned, sometimes Muna fussed too much. Kristine definitely messed up in not staying to oversee the project because she could then have pulled Muna. If Muna fussed she could replay the scenes and the rest of the team could also stand with Kristine. At this point it is all about the "team" win and Muna would have to see that.I still maintain that I prefer the NY episodes better, mostly because I don't like that whole tent thing - too distracting. Although, I do appreciate the ocean views. This is the first season that I don't remember anyone's name. I am getting more interested though as the players narrow down.I also think it is stupid to have the winning leader in the board room, but then I miss old George. A.M. - your opinions are always appreciated here - so, ramble on-anytime - you always have interesting things to say and of course your infamous wit is always appreciated. :)
Indeed, why I did not go to medical school.I just wanted to let you know (if you didn't already) that I've Migrated to WordPress so you can find me and relink me at/to patientanonymous.wordpress.comTake care,PA
Got to love that medic. I'm only commenting, because you invited me. I'm imagining Surgeonsblog take on the comic strip. Good one Seaspray.Glad we aren't on the table.
Hi P.A. - I will update my link to your new site. Thanks! :)Hi Chrysalis Angel - you know I love your comments, where ever they land - and I love when you visit here. Yes, medic is a good guy, funny too.I can imagine that maybe Dr.Schwab has had a few of those "moments" with a challenged OR staff member somewhere in his career. Yes, glad we aren't on THAT table. :)Have a great weekend! I am STILL entrenched in paperwork! One call to my ins. company and 45 minutes later. I recently caught some mistakes in how they billed my 1st urologist and me with my copays - that was corrected but now today found 2 more mistakes. This is going to be a long process. They also made a mistake with an old radiologist bill that I just caught. Sigh! So many to go through and it is all very detailed.Money is money and I want it to go where it should. The thing is, they didn't even know they made a mistake with my January claims and didn't apply them to my deductible and then they took a February claim and applied it to deductible and well suffice it to know I am still going to review what she said and see if her numbers jive with mine.I can not emphasize this enough.Everyone should review their EOB's because I am concluding that mistakes by the insurance companies is commonplace and they are either costing the subscriber or the provider money with errors from the ins co end of things. Not always, but more often than I ever realized. I never used to look at this stuff and probably lost money along the way. Sorry - I know b-o-r-i-n-g-. :)
Cute comic! I've seen it before, but it never fails to elicit a smile!By the way - I wanted to tell you that I just overfed your cute little fish ... *blink*
Ha!Ha! Hi Moof! Thanks for stopping by. Yes - I have over fed them too. :) I didn't realize the cat purrs if you rub it's back. also, you can click on cats little gray box bottom lower right corner and either get the cat toy by clicking on it or the can of cat food to feed it. Can also make it jump out of the basket.ok...I confess - this whole blog thing is one big toy - creative- but fun to play with the gadgets too. :) I really love the Sonific widget and how I have it playing Pachelbel's Canon in D with o-c-e-a-n sounds or that I can choose other music if I wish to. Technology is amazing! Guess I am still in the honeymoon faze of blogging. :)
Phase - not faze. Duh! Tired!
I know what you mean about the billing. I'm going through that too. They make a mistake and it takes an act of congress to get it corrected.
Hi Chrysalis Angel - I took Sunday off from the paperwork and plan to hit it early Monday morning - more focused and bright eyed and bushy tailed - whatever that means. :) Yes - I like barbecues too and Swimming - lots of swimming.
This one is my favorite, too. :) I just added one to the bottom of my page that you might really, really like. :-P
Hi Doc's girl - there are some cartoons that are timeless and this is one of them. I could look at this one over and over again and do. :)I'm thinking of some Far Side cartoons that I never tire of. One of my favorites is where the dog is trying to trick the cat into going in the dryer. I have that one up somewhere in my March archives.I look forward to heading over to your site to check out the cartoon you speak of.Thanks for stopping by. :)
