What a great de-stressor. Click on that at lunch time and get away for a while. I'll be needing that soon.
I'm glad you liked it.I am going in shower now as son and I are again going out to pound the pavements for a car for him. I seriously think this car hunting process is turning into my new definition for hell on earth as we are going through the grueling process of looking at cars on the hot pavement, standing there in the sun. I feel like the wicked witch after she has water thrown on her where she shrieks out,"Help me -I'm melting", only I would find it a welcome relief to have water thrown on me. :)I know I need to have a serious attitude adjustment before I leave the house. We were supposed to go this morning and I admit to procrastinating which is just putting off the inevitable.I have always picked out and sealed the deal with any auto we have gotten on the 1st day I went out. This is day# 5! I wish he could just by a reliable 5-7,000.00 used car but cars are expensive and you don't get much for that and the mileage is high. yet that is a serious investment to me but you never know what you are getting - it could go either way. So, we are looking at things that will require loans and he can't afford under 6 year payments and I think that is too long. (Sigh)I think I should look at this clip before I leave and get into my moment of Zen! :)
Angel - are you getting the pauses in this clip? It wasn't doing it this a.m.It's ruining my Zen! :)Oh heck, I will just go get my shower first - I DO love my new shower head! :) (I have to post about that)
Hey BRN! Glad you liked it! :)
I didn't double check it, but it seemed fine for me. YouTubes seem to skip at times.I feel your pain - with car hunting, I soooo detest the process. When I went to buy one I took the car out - had it checked over by my friend that's a mechanic, went back- the salesman wouldn't come down in price for me, so I told him I'd think about it. I enabled the aid of fireguy to go in and haggle...this salesmen did not know it was for me. He thought he had two different buyers interested. He gave fireguy the price it was worth, so....when it came time to sign the papers..fireguy's sitting there and he says "Oh, this isn't for me, the buyer will be here in a minute" In I walk to sign and buy the car. Big 'ol smile on my face as I sign, none of us said a word...and the sales guys' mouth was still open as I walked out to "my" car.
Good for you Angel! If only there was just a fair price - like when you go to Walmart to buy a toaster.Well, I guess even stores can charge various prices for the same item and so maybe it is the same with cars except that because we are talking thousands with a car, the variations are that much greater.Even tho I was procrastinating greatly yesterday, by the time I got to the dealer -I was totally on top of my game and I know they saw the difference and they came down in things and showed us a couple of things we are interested in but they also know we are going over to Toyota and Honda tomorrow morning.Either way I have decided that we are sealing the deal somewhere tomorrow.I am thinking that the city stat counter I have on my sidebar (with the palm trees) slows it down somewhat as the numbers increase. Every time I flip in and out of other blogs I have a delay where my blog freezes for a few seconds. But I don't want to take that off because a. I like it and b. I paid for it. At Christmas I can put up a cozy cottage with snow falling. I know - it's a blog toy! :)
You and your toys Seaspray....
A girl's gotta have some toys -makes it all fun! :)
