Beautiful photo! What am I looking at???Warmly, Ellen KimballPortland, OREGON
Hi Ellen-Winter sunset upside down. I will put more pics up soon. So beautiful!
I wondered about that, and now I know what you did. Brilliant... Digital photography has grabbed my husband's fancy in these later years, and his work is extraordinary. We bought him a new Sony camera at Costco (he had a $40.00 credit there anyway). I'm glad he's found an avocation he enjoys. Your continuing upset about your mother in the hospital and your lost medical records are more proof that each one of us has to be on continuous alert and aware of EVERY SITUATION having to do with the declining effectiveness of the medical system in this country. It is abysmal in many cases. Many things are falling in the cracks because of this economy. We've had a refinance application on our home sitting at a local bank (one of the good ones that received money from the TARP) for the past two months. Someone cast it aside as INELIGIBLE because of a misreading of our financial data. Nobody called us about the rejection. Mind you, we already HAVE a loan with this company and we have never missed a payment. All we want to do is get them to stand behind an offer made to us by telephone! I wish I were there to help you with everything. You have poured out your heart here today. Please accept this cyberhug from two Portland grandparents. Hoping for better days ahead, Ellen Kimball and the Digital Geezer
Ellen - thank you for your support. :)maybe put some of your husband's pics up on your site sometime. i have been meaning to blogroll you and I will do that soon.I am not usually remiss with my comments on my blog but needed space from the med rec debacle. There is more to the story now but am too drained to detail it... at this time.I am sorry for your unfair refinance difficulties. I hope it will all get corrected.I am becoming jaded as I increasingly observe how people do not back up their agreements, responsibilities, etc. i have to believe it will all get better. You said "Your continuing upset about your mother in the hospital and your lost medical records are more proof that each one of us has to be on continuous alert and aware of EVERY SITUATION having to do with the declining effectiveness of the medical system in this country.
