Woo hoo! SNOW!

And then ...I saw that the beautiful snowflakes were nothing but a TEASE!

We need to do a snow dance or something.

Update next day: I take it back. Snow dance cancelled.

Younger son and friends (on college break) heading to Atlantic City for a couple of days ...as I type this. Son driving, but he has a Charger - rear wheel drive and not equipped for snowy weather.

But ...when they get back ...let it snow ...let it snow ...let it snow.

The loss of control is a very important issue. I usually try to put the patient at ease and give them some control back with light humor: I ask what movie they would like to watch during the "flight".

Meat as an opiate to lure my husband (it would be to him) into going out for a Christmas tree. ;) ~ Next year I should have a pot roast braising on the stove and the moment he walks in the door... lift the lid and let the site of the meat pleasure his eyes while the aroma wafting up toward him sedates him like an opiate and THEN remind him we are going to get the tree now and we will come back to have this pot roast AFTER we get the tree home and in the stand.
